Mission
The mission of the CELT is to inspire teaching and learning excellence across UB's academic community. Through collaboration with faculty, students, staff, and administration, we strive to enhance student learning in an environment that respects a wide variety of approaches across disciplines.
Goal
The Center was re-established in 2022 to support faculty through programs and services that promote effective teaching strategies. The CELT encourages faculty in their academic, professional, and personal potential, providing training and development that enhances the learning experience and supports overall student engagement and success.
The CELT Professional Development Classroom and main office are located in Wahlstrom Library, room 515. UB faculty can make an appointment or access resources by visiting the Faculty Resources page.
