Dental Hygiene Anesthesia Course

This course is designed to prepare the dental hygienist in the State of Connecticut to administer local anesthesia. The participant will be introduced to safe and effective administration of local anesthesia through lecture, laboratory, and clinical settings.

This clinical course is ideal for the experienced RDH or recent graduate who currently holds a certificate in local anesthesia and would like a “hands on” refresher of LA techniques under the guidance of experienced clinical faculty.

Laser Education for the Dental Hygienist (Lecture and Hands-on)

This course provides the opportunity to use several different diode lasers in a lab setting. Lecture content will include laser science, laser procedures for the dental hygienist, practice implementation, insurance and laser safety.
