To support one of the most in-demand professions in America’s workforce today, the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing offers a preparatory Pre-Nursing curriculum and three approved BSN nursing tracks including Traditional BSN, Accelerated BSN and RN to BSN Online Degree Completion. For registered nurses who already hold a bachelor’s degree, UB’s MSN Online program is available to help advance their careers in leadership and education.

The New England Commission on Higher Education, Inc. (NECHE) accredits the University of Bridgeport. Accreditation of an institution of higher education by NECHE indicates that it meets or exceeds criteria for the assessment of institutional quality, periodically applied through a peer review process. An accredited university is one that has available the necessary resources to achieve its stated purposes through appropriate educational programs, is substantially doing so, and gives reasonable evidence that it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future. Institutional integrity is also addressed through accreditation.
